Shakespeare Festival

Alfred Hitchcock once said, “Theater is life with the dull bits cut out.” And as usual, the Master of Suspense was not mistaken! Head out with us on Saturday, June 30th to the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, Utah for an afternoon of theater at a special preview performance of “Big River.” Mark Twain’s timeless classic will sweep you down the mighty Mississippi as the irrepressible Huck Finn helps his friend Jim escape to freedom. Their adventures along the way are hilarious, suspenseful, and heartwarming, bringing life to your favorite characters from the novel. Tickets are only $50 and include the cost of bus transportation to Cedar City and back, a delicious sack lunch, boatloads of laughs and musical talent that you don’t want to miss! Lunch includes a Turkey or Roast Beef Sandwich, Chips, a Cookie & Water Bottle. We will be eating our picnic lunch prior to the play at a scenic park in Cedar City close by the Festival grounds. The bus departs from the Community Center at 11am sharp, the play start at 2pm. Remember to fish your tickets out before the deadline on Monday, June 25th at Noon.
