Jr. Rodeo - CANCELLED
Tuesday, April 23, 5:00 p.m.
The Junior Rodeo planned for Tuesday, April 23rd will be canceled for the safety of the horses. This is due to an equine outbreak of the Equine Herpes Virus 1 and another form of that virus called the Equine Herpes Myeloencephalopathy, which is a mutant strain of the EHV-1 virus that is a little bit more severe. EHV-1 can cause four manifestations of disease in horses, including neurological form, respiratory disease, abortion, and neonatal death. While it’s a disappointment safety always comes first.
