Neil Simon’s “The Dinner Party”
The Center For The Arts at Kayenta, in partnership with the Neil Simon Festival, bring you the funny and mysterious, Neil Simon’s “The Dinner Party.” Please be seated!
Simon’s wildly successful Broadway hit serves up a decidedly French dinner party with hilarity and chaos that only a master chef of comedy could create. Five people are mysteriously invited to a first-rate restaurant in Paris, ooo-la-la!, and suddenly find themselves in a comic soufflé. They do not know who the other guests will be or why they have been invited. Tossed together in a private dining room, they have a sneaking suspicion that this unorthodox dinner party will forever change their lives. It’s Neil Simon with an Agatha Christie twist!
Come for the laughs, stay for the mystery and enjoy the just desserts with an incredible professional cast who will not leave you hungry! Directed by Henry Ballesteros, the production features film and television star Clarence Gilyard, Utah Shakespeare Festival star Peter Sham, NSF founder Richard Bugg, as well as local leading ladies, Kirsten Sham, Holly Barrick and Alyson King.
The Spectrum and Daily News Review by Brian Passey stated: “The production of ‘The Dinner Party’ excels as a ‘serious farce’ and as usual, Simon knows how to tug at our heartstrings and this phenomenal cast delivers his lines in a genuine and immersive way.” Don’t miss this fantastic show!
Admission is $30/ticket, and the show runs for one week only – from January 17-20. Purchase tickets by visiting kayentaarts.com.
