The 2017 Huntsman World Senior Games

Once again, the Huntsman World Senior Games are upon us! Since their inception in 1987, the Games have been a world-class showcase of active-adult competition and sport, all centered in our beautiful St. George.

The 2017 Huntsman World Senior Games are taking place from October 9 – 21, 2017 at multiple venues throughout the area. This year’s Opening Ceremonies will be held Tuesday, October 10 (TONIGHT!) in the Legend Solar Stadium on the campus of Dixie State University. Athletes, family and friends of the Games are all encouraged to attend and admission is free to the public. For those unable to attend, the Opening Ceremonies will also be live-streamed by the Community Education Channel at https://youtu.be/v9FIBmb41Zo.

More than 11,000 athletes from over 77 countries are expected to compete in this year’s Games in a wide array of 30 sports from archery, lawn bowling and golf to pickleball, shotgun sports and triathlon!
