Hope of the World: Nativity Dance Concert
Hope of the World, A Dance Nativity Concert is an inspirational, collaborative production that draws you into the spirit of Christmas. Presented at the DSU Eccles Main Stage Theater, Hope of the world tells the story of the events leading up to and including the birth of Jesus Christ through the powerful mediums of music, dance, and song. This production features Erica Bryce and Troy McGee (Mary & Joseph), with the St. George Dance Company, Phillippe Clark Hall’s future Elite Vocal Academy, Gethsemane Fine Art, and other outstanding vocalists, musicians and dancers. Presented in ballet and contemporary/modern styles of six different choreographers, there is something for everyone. In addition to the Nativity narrative, part one includes “The Gifts of Christmas” ~ holiday inspired works to set the tone for a season of joy…You are in for a special evening!
This event was designed to lift the spirits of many in a time of discord and sometimes loneliness by sharing a message of hope and peace. They are offering complimentary tickets to Veterans and Care Center residents; you may contact Lisa at lisa.tutuart@gmail.com for vouchers. They are also reaching out to people of all faiths to bring the community together with common values of family, service, and in many cases, Christianity.
