St. George Literary Arts Festival

Turn the next page with the St. George Literary Arts Festival, held Tuesday, Oct. 8 through Saturday, Oct. 12 at Dixie State University!

This year’s festival will feature a full slate of literary events for writers, readers and budding bookworms throughout Southern Utah. Tuesday night kicks off with the book launch for Erosion: Essays of Undoing by Terry Tempest Williams in the Zion Room of the Jeffery R. Holland Building.


Weekday events include lectures by Liz Adair (“How To Self Publish: Print, Ebooks and Audiobooks”), Naomi Sawyer and Chuck Sale (“Five Secrets to Reading and Writing”), Dorothy Allred Solomon (“Make Your Life Read Like a Novel”) and more!


Saturday will kick off with a keynote speech by Christopher Phillips on “A Child’s Heart” and then feature an entire day of panels and classes in DSU’s Udvar-Hazy Building, including a mid-day puppet show for the kids!
