Pioneer Day Festivities: A Complete List

Every July 24, Utahns around the state gather to celebrate their heritage, history and the commemoration of Pioneer Day! Mark the day with a complete list of the festivities happening all around the St. George area below.

Washington City & Community Pioneer Day Celebration

Come enjoy Pioneer Day on July 24th. There will be a parade down Telegraph Street at 8:30 am in the morning followed by food booths, children’s races, and breakfast at Veterans Park. After the morning fun head over to the W.C.C.C. Softball Complex that evening for a fireworks display. Every event is free and open to the public.

8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Veteran Park Fun, Food, & Games

9 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Washington City Pioneer Day Pool Party

Join the celebration at Southern Utah’s largest aquatic center! Stay cool in the pool and watch the Washington City Fireworks Show from the splash pad. No need to camp out in the heat all day at the park when you can have a front row seat at the pool!

6 p.m. — 10 p.m.

Family-friendly entertainment

$6 admission/$20 family of four (+$5 per person after)

Kids 3 and under are free
