James and the Giant Peach
Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach is coming to Kayenta June 27th- 29th!
The Center for the Arts at Kayenta is proud to present a musical made for young and old…and by them too! Experienced actors and young novices put on an inspiring performance your family will love.
In this captivating musical, James is sent to live with his two terrible aunts, Spiker and Sponge. One day he meets a strange man, and they create a concoction that produces magical crocodile tongues. James soon finds himself in the center of a giant peach among human-sized insects with oversized personalities! The group faces hunger, disagreements and sharks! As James travels in the peach, his new friends help him feel part of a family again. Will James’ quick thinking save them all? Can they find their way home? Let the Center for the Arts at Kayenta take you away with a bit of silliness, laughter and even sweetness. Come, sit back “and away we’ll go!”
Take in the Roald Dahl-themed Art Expo on display before the performance, and tell the grandkids about our Shine to Show workshop. They could be in this show!
The curtain rises on James and the Giant Peach every evening at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children and students with a current student ID. For tickets and more information, visit kayentaarts.com.
